Quickshift – Mozart Ideation
Like many of Mozart’s compositions, this piece is highly organizing in both the biological and cognitive domains. Mozart creates a delicate interplay between the soloist (piano) and orchestra, thus giving one the sense of the individual within the group. This interplay supports ideation, as an idea must occur and be executed in an organized manner, within the environment. Themes are repeated with variations in an organized method as they are presented in one key and shift to another complementary key. This album provides a musical template for motor organization that supports ideation and praxis; a musical foundation for the scaffolding of ideas.
