Shipping Information:

Shipping costs are determined by the weight and destination of your order.  You can calculate your shipping costs by adding all the products you wish to purchase into the Cart, view your Cart and then select the Calculate Shipping option.  Enter your Country, State and Postal Code to produce your shipping costs.

Delivery notes placed into order notes during checkout, like “Put on front porch” do not get forwarded to delivery couriers. If you have delivery instruction, please email this instruction to us at after placing your order. Please note we cannot guarantee the courier will follow your instructions, as they have their own methods of delivering packaged outside of our control.

Standard Delivery Time:

We strive to ship all orders within two business days of order receipt. If that is not possible with your order, you will be notified promptly via email or phone. For shipments within the U.S., you should receive your order in 7 business days or less, depending on your distance from Madison, Wisconsin. For international shipments, delivery times can vary greatly, so email us if you have questions about delivery time for your specific country.

Expedited Shipping:

If you select expedite shipping at checkout, please note that orders will not be processed on weekends or after 2:30 pm Central Time until the next business day.

Saturdays and Sundays are not considered business days.

International Recipients:

International Customs requires international recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering their country. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to International Customs on the importer¹s behalf.

Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.

UPS states international deliveries are usually made within 7 business days from the shipment date, as long as all items clear customs in the normal fashion (Saturday and Sunday are not included as business days).

Canadian Recipients:

Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer¹s behalf.

Your order will be shipped under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$ 200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$ 10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees.

Sales Tax:

Returns and Exchanges:

You must email us to arrange for any returns or exchanges (please have your invoice available). Please send an email to to start your return process. Our standard return policy is 30 days from the date of purchase for any unopened and unused products.  Any refunds will be paid in the same manner payment was received.

CD Return/Exchange Policy:

CDs can be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase date, as long as the CD has not been opened and the seal has not been broken. If a CD is defective, we will replace it within the first 30 days with the identical title only.

Books Return/Exchange Policy:

Books cannot be returned for a refund, but can be exchanged for the identical title within 30 days of purchase if they are defective in materials or workmanship.

Headphones & Accessories Return/Exchange Policy:

Headphones or accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase date, as long as they are new, unused, and complete with all original packaging. If headphones or accessories are used, but defective in workmanship or materials during the first 30 days, we will exchange for the identical item. The SOUNDS Headphones come with a 365-day warranty for initial user/purchaser or a 180-day warranty for a multi-user purchaser or international purchaser that protects against defects in materials and workmanship provided by Vital Sounds Inc. If you have any defect problems with the SOUNDS headphones within the time frame please contact Vital Sounds directly.  The Vital Sounds warranty policy requires that the customer is responsible to send the headphones back to us for further investigation of the issue.  Once we receive the headphones, we would look them over to see if it is something we can repair and if we can repair them we would return the repaired headphones back to you.  If it is something that cannot be repaired, we would then ship you out a new SOUNDS headphone as part of the defect warranty. Sennheiser HD500A headphones come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. All warranty claims for the Sennheiser HD500A must contact Sennheiser directly.

Headphone Warranty Details:

The guarantee period for Sennheiser HD500A headphones is 24 months, and starts on the date of original purchase. The guarantee period for SOUNDS headphones is 12 months for single users or 6 months for multi users & international user and starts on the date of the original purchase.  For this reason, we recommend that the sales receipt be retained as proof of purchase. Without this proof, you will be charged for any repairs that are carried out.

Guarantee service comprises, free of charge, the removal of material and manufacturing defects through repair or replacement of either individual parts or the entire device.

Inappropriate usage (e.g. operating faults, mechanical damages, incorrect operating voltage), wear and tear, major force and defects which were known at the time of purchase are excluded from guarantee claims. The guarantee is void if the product is manipulated by non-authorized persons or repair stations.

In the case of a claim under the terms of this guarantee, send the device, including accessories and sales receipt, to the responsible service partner. To minimize the risk of transport damage, we recommend that the original packaging be used. Your legal rights against the seller, resulting from the contract of sale, are not affected by this guarantee.

Sennheiser Warranty Information:

See return/exchange policies above if any items are defective in materials or workmanship during the first 30 days after purchase. In addition, the Sennheiser HD500A headphones are covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Before contacting Vital Sounds or Sennheiser about problems you are experiencing, please try the following three steps first:

1. Unplug the headphone cable from the headphones and plug it back in

2. Unplug the headphone cable from the CD player and plug it back in

3. Try the headphones with different CD players and different CDs (be sure to try non-modified CDs)

If you experience problems after the first 30 days, contact Sennheiser (the manufacturer) directly. Sennheiser provides a 24-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
