Shipping costs are determined by the weight and destination of your order.  You can calculate your shipping costs by adding all the products you wish to purchase into the Cart, view your Cart and then select the Calculate Shipping option.  Enter your Country, State and Postal Code to produce your shipping costs.

Delivery notes placed into order notes during checkout, like “Put on front porch” do not get forwarded to delivery couriers. If you have delivery instruction, please email this instruction to us at sales@vitalsounds.com after placing your order. Please note we cannot guarantee the courier will follow your instructions, as they have their own methods of delivering packaged outside of our control.

We strive to ship all orders within two business days of order receipt. If that is not possible with your order, you will be notified promptly via email or phone. For shipments within the U.S., you should receive your order in 7 business days or less, depending on your distance from Madison, Wisconsin. For international shipments, delivery times can vary greatly, so email us if you have questions about delivery time for your specific country.

If you select expedite shipping at checkout, please note that orders will not be processed on weekends or after 2:30 pm Central Time until the next business day.

Saturdays and Sundays are not considered business days.

Once your order has been processed for shipment you will receive an email with tracking information.

Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer¹s behalf.

Your order will be shipped under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$ 200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$ 10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees.

Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.

International Customs requires international recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering their country. UPS states international deliveries are usually made within 7 business days from the shipment date, as long as all items clear customs in the normal fashion (Saturday and Sunday are not included as business days).

Orders shipped within Wisconsin will have state and county sales tax added automatically during checkout.

Headphones or accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase date, as long as they are new, unused, and complete with all original packaging. Thank you for your interest in getting started with Therapeutic Listening. One aspect that differentiates Therapeutic Listening as an auditory treatment is that it is individualized based upon a client’s unique clinical picture and functional outcome goals. Families work with a therapist who has been trained in Therapeutic Listening to personally assess and design a progression one album at a time, changing music selections every two weeks. There is no “one size fits all” product or progression when utilizing Therapeutic Listening, as it is embedded within a clinical reasoning model and a partnership between the therapist, client, and their family.
 
As it is our goal for customers to find the most success when utilizing Therapeutic Listening, interested individuals will work directly with a trained Therapeutic Listening provider. During on-going treatment sessions, therapists select and observe each client’s response to an album to ensure it is a match before recommending that the family purchase the album for at home use. This is an integral step in the clinical reasoning process, as it ensures that clients are listening to albums that are specifically selected for their unique goals and clinical picture. 
 
To start your Therapeutic Listening journey, locate a trained therapist in your area who would be able to design and implement an individualized Therapeutic Listening progression. Please use the Therapeutic Listening Provider Directory to search for trained a therapist near you.
To be eligible to purchase the modulated and Fine-Tuning Therapeutic Listening selections, customers either need to be a therapist who has completed the training course or be working with a therapist who has completed the corresponding training courses. Entering the individual therapist’s course completion number at checkout guarantees that the customer has completed the training or is working with a therapist who has completed the training which facilitates continuity of care and implementation with Therapeutic Listening among therapists and clients.  
 
Therapists, to locate your individual course completion number, please find your Course Completion Certificate which will indicate your individually assigned therapist number necessary to place your order.
The Therapeutic Listening albums are available through the Therapeutic Listening app (available on Apple iTunes or Google Play Store products) or on physical equipment, including the SanDisk Player, micro SD album cards, and CDs, directly from Vital Sounds. Please note, Vital Sounds does not sell CD players or speakers.
